SUBJECT : Report of UFO at Time of Soviet Satellite Failure
  
   1. At 4:30 on 8 February 1978, XXXXXXXXX, who works for the
XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX, reported
information that might relate to the Soviet satellite that fell in
Canada on Tuesdat, 24 January. He said that while going to work a
week ago Friday, 27, Jan he was on the bridge in XXXXXXXX going
over towards XXXXXXXX and observed an odd object coming down
in the sky. No description was obtained.

   2. We said we would pass his information to the Air Force, and
if they wanted to contact him for more information we would give the
Air Force his name and telephone number.
